It bears saying again: Thank you for making the N5SAC May 2026 ham radio technician class a success!

Thank you, Chief Wade, for making the location and food available.
Thank you ChickFila for inventing Waffle Chips—Huge hit.
Thank you, Kacie, for dragging out food and making an emergency drink run.
Thank you to the hard-working class for doing the work and making the slog until we finished up a hair after 4.
We were delayed waiting for a few no-shows and yet completed the lecture work at 3:46p! That’s only about fifteen minutes later than last year, meaning we actually spent LESS time in lecture. This is a record accomplished only with the quality of students.
Of the 6 survivors, 100-percent passed and are anxious to use their privileges. The youngest attendee was 15, and the oldest was…mature.
Additionally, $165 were donated to the club(thank you, whoever sneaked a hundy bill into the jar), and $20 remain pledged.
We were supported by four extras serving as VEs, including Doug Preibe AG5HB, Larry Yates, and Tony Fiorda WB8ZWI. Extra Randy Wade W5FOM brought a hardware demo and a quick POTA talk. Our club director, Radio Officer Greg Kent KK6AXF, and CERT apologist Tricia Lindsay K5TIL made pleas for the class to look into the Chief’s city volunteer programs.

This event would have fallen on its face without your efforts.
In addition, thanks to Doug Priebe AG5HB for providing Morse desk pendants to all the students. HRCC on YouTube provided the video resource–give him a subscribe. SignalStuff provided the reference resource online and the online testing environment exam.tools. Support them by buying a SignalStick from their website or Amazon.

I’m now off recovering and preparing for the June 27 GENERAL CLASS. We currently have 11 seats filled. All you Technicians can join us: https://tinyurl.com/generalclass2026
Please hit me up with questions!
